  Sears heating and cooling in Chicago is a nightmare. I had them install ac and furnace. Didn't pass inspection. Needed a condensate pump. You would think their "experienced sales team and installers" would of caught that. Nope. Impossible to contact sears so I called the installer back since he was responsible for the service for 1yr. When I called to make sure everything was good, I found out that it was not sears that did the extra work. Wayne Gregory project coordinator told me was cheaper if the guy did it on his own. I signed a sears receipt and when I called to talk to Wayne, he generated a generic receipt for the pump. Really? Tried calling sears to find out who was actually in my house doing the work. Guy had no uniform and plain truck! I had to file a complaint to get the pump in my warranty. Still waiting on that.....and now, the pump is leaking. Causing major damage and you talk to anyone for 3 days, till after the holidays. Can't get a hold of anyone who knows what they are doing on the phones and got the run around. Don't trust sears to do any work in your house!! They will over charge you 3 times the amount and do bad work and you don't really know who is coming to your house if they use a third party and don't tell you. Please be careful! More details in full complaint. Update...just found out I should have a 16 seer furnace and now see it's a 14 seer! Rip off scammers. Watch out!!!

  It is too early to review the service that has been completed by Sears technician. But I can say they were very professional and know what they were doing. That being said, I am very happy about their work and their professionalism. They took a bit to explain me how to maintain the A.C. and furnace as well as how they will operate efficiently... Just hope this work without any problems. I will update my review later on after 3 or 4 months...
